OUR MISSION
It is the mission of the COMBAT ART FUND provide high quality art prints to combat units of the United States Armed Forces and to Federal Office Buildings and Veterans Services Medical Centers. We select commissioned artwork to be published in editions to be offered to members of selected combat units, often donating many prints to soldiers with the support of local and international sponsors
In 2005, we donated over 400 prints to soldiers in the 14th Combat Engineer BN with the sponsorship of patriotic companies and individuals
In October, 2005, artist Patrick Haskett signed and presented over 200 prints to US and Allied Military members at the 2005 AUSA Convention in Washington D.C. at the BAE SYSTEMS Land Warfare display. BAE SYSTEMS was the 2005 primary sponsor of "COMBAT ENGINEERS IN ACTION!"
The DBA Combat Art Fund is a Not For Profit Project solely owned and operated by Deborah M. Haskett, Haskett Fine Art LLC . registered in the State of Washington.
NOTE: * The COMBAT ART FUND IS NOT A 501 (c) and is not tax exempt. We do not wish to solicit funds from the general public.
Combat Art Fund projects are contract commissions from Individuals Companies that we select.
In 2006 Haskett Fine Art LLC was commissioned by BAE SYSTEMS to create the painting "FIREFIGHT IN THE COURTYARD" commemorating the sacrifice of SFC Paul Ray Smith in a battle where he gave his life saving the lives of his fellow soldiers. The original oil painting by Patrick Haskett was unveiled at the United States Army (AUSA)Convention in Washington DC. Mr. Haskett, a disabled vet has donated his services to make this project possible.
Because of Sponsors such as BAE Systems and others, we Have Presented over 2,000 prints to Soldiers!
We also contract with Military units to provide marketing and fund raising support
The funds received by selected contractors go to the extensive research/ photography / sketches, design comp artwork, framing, poster design, publishing, shipping, storage,research/travel, pre-press design, printing, and fund raising commissions. Prints can be donated to soldiers through our gift giving program for veterans in VA Hospitals and Warrior Transition Brigades. Selected Units must be Active duty military , National Guard, U.S. Reserve Components and/or Defense Contractors who have served in Combat.
Individuals and Corporations may apply to purchaser commission prints to donate to the troops. Contact us at address below to find out which prints are still available.
